One Arrested Following ACE Unit Drug Investigation

Carrollton, GA (August 15, 2023) – On Friday, August 11, 2023, the ACE (Aggressive Criminal Enforcement) Unit executed a search warrant at 316 Columbia Drive (The Foundry), in Carrollton, after an illegal drug distribution investigation. The search warrant resulted in one arrest and the seizure of suspected oxycodone pills, Adderall pills, promethazine, several pounds of marijuana, and THC edibles and cartridges, representing an estimated street value of over $15,000. 

Adam Shareef, age 21, of Carrollton, was arrested and charged with Possession of Oxycodone with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Adderall with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of THC with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of a Firearm During Certain Crimes.

Shareef was transported to the Carroll County Jail.   The warrant also led to the discovery and seizure of four firearms and an amount of U.S. Currency.

Once again, the dedicated efforts of our ACE Unit have led to the disruption of significant distribution networks and the removal of dangerous weapons from our streets.
